The dawn of a whole new year. We went to Reading to get down and party chez House-of-Henry. Midnight was celebrated for 45mins with some whizz pop bang fireworks and our old friend Jack Daniels. I'm afraid the pictures are a little arty... well, bad art.
Abigail had a few chums over to celebrate passing in to a new set of years beginning with 3. For some reason the camera only came out to play at 00h15, and this is what it saw. Some viewers may find the images disturbing.
All the boys headed Devonwards to this lighthouse. Had far too much to eat and drink, but was a top weekend. Not a suitable place for boys or children as there were plenty of things to fall off, cliffs and the like. I don't think it was haunted, but it's possible a few souls perished in the "bottom" engine room. Paul wanted to tie a lantern to Neils bottom and walk him along the cliffs to lure in and wreck treasure ships...
The day began on Friday night, where the select few gathered in Thornton Heath, South London to get excited together. None of them really knew what the following day had in store, but it all worked out beautifully. They saw many cool bands, and ate and drank and were merry, and by the end of the day they all KNEW they had a blast, but could hardly remember a thing!
A social event comprising much coffee, cake, fancy dress and laughter was held. The primary purpose was to participate in the "World's Biggest Coffee Morning" and raise money for Macmillan Cancer Relief. The earliest guests arrived the night before, and the last to arrive turned up 24hrs after the invitation time. If you were there and are not pictured, either your attire was inappropriate or the camera operator was high on cut coffeeeee...
